We are way down from peak coal and its not really solar/wind that's taking it's place it natural gas.

renewables usage has doubled in the last 10 years. In electricity generation.

That really undersells the growth. 10 years ago it was basically all hydro, so solar and wind went from essentially 0 to 12%. That's not doubling, thats divide-by-zero error growth.
