Why do you think so?

I've got the impression that HN is using _lots of_ varying platforms, it's not like Apple is vastly prefered (or looked down to) around here.

There is a lot of enthusiasm for M1/2 on hn. A majority of it justified on technical merit, but also a decent dose of Reality distortion field involved I think.
