I never knew I always wanted to know. Neat.

He goes on to further state:

"Quick review of the #ShadowBrokers leak of Top Secret NSA tools reveals it's nowhere near the full library, but there's still so much here that NSA should be able to instantly identify where this set came from and how they lost it. If they can't, it's a scandal."

Good memories.

Does anyone remember where an Exodus colo facility was in SF around that same time (1999-2001)? That was my first visit to the area and I can't seem to locate the neighborhood now that I live here.

Spaceballs.

I was making $1-3k monthly. I logged in at the end of November (*edit: 2012) to see what my Xmas bonus was going to be. Turns out it would be a big, fat zero. Account suspended/canceled.

I submitted a claim and they said: sorry, no - you're done.

There was zero reason to do it. No ToS violations, no fraudulent clicks. Just $30k less in my bank account for the next year. The second most frustrating part, aside from the loss of revenue, is that they won't tell you why or what caused the cancellation.

Edit 2: RIP AdSense account, ~2006-2012

You didn't try switching to other ad networks?

I lost an entire Google account like this. Email, calendar, etc - poof, no explanation, no recourse.

My visits to the promotions tab has been reduced to 0-1 time a month since their introduction. I guess they need to try something to get those visits back?

Why would Google want to get those visits back? Things in the promotions tab are essentially competing against Google's own ads in Gmail so it probably benefits Google that you don't look at them.

Weren't they inserting ads in the promotions tab that look like regular e-mails?

http://www.theverge.com/2013/7/22/4546906/google-uses-gmails...

The plan seems kind of simple here:

- Make the promotions tab nicer.

- More eyeballs for placed advertisements.

Agreed. Why spend the effort on the new display look then?

"Between 15:51 and 15:52 PDT, 50% to 70% of requests to Google received errors; service was mostly restored one minute later, and entirely restored after 4 minutes."

No.

I'm stuck on 16... doesn't seem to be doing anything after I shared the folder :/

Hit the "Repair Dropquest Folder" link on your current chapter's page to fix that.

I had the same issue after the chapter where you invite an email to share a folder. I invited it to the Dropquest folder, which I guess was a bad idea!

I hid IE after installing Chrome frame, then replaced both Chrome and FF icons with the IE icon.

Just in case.
