Fun.

I went to the TLD and couldn’t make sense of how this is connected to that.

This is almost exactly reflective of our experience here in Australia, too.

The midwifery service was genuinely amazing and our midwife also positioned childbirth as a natural thing, not a "medical event" (by default anyway).

Those changes started happening years before Microsoft and have nothing to do with the acquisition.

I think ljm agrees with you...?

I didn’t appear so, at least from my interpretation.

As I read it, the comment implied Microsoft had something to do with cleaning it up and/or that work started post-acquisition. Neither of which reflects the reality.

I’m clearly not Eric, but you’ve only addressed the investor side here.

Looks to me LTSE is trying to create a forcing function, primarily through governance, for companies to think and act long-term.

Why is it difficult? Is there not enough context given the conversation is specifically focused on video conference software.

One could say the same of Zoom...

There's Zoom Meetings Client, Zoom Rooms, a desktop app, mobile app, Outlook Plug-in, Browser extension, etc.

This reminds of the Internet, particularly pre-social media, when it was interesting and people had personal sites and weird projects.

Take heart, nthnclrk. That side of the Web is not dead.

There are loads of people out there running wacky personal websites on every subject you can imagine. Mine[1], for instance, holds poetry, Chinese translations, a videogame, and an open call for Star Wars fan art.

If you want the real motherlode, go read Kicks Condor's "Href Hunt." [2] That drongo collects and catalogs people's personal websites, so you've got a whole evening of digital feasting ahead of you.

From the article, “ Honda has done what no other car maker is doing”.

False, Mazda started this with the Mazda 3 in 2019 (https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1121372_why-mazda-is-pur...).
