I bet the vast majority of the devs complaining in here hate supporting old versions. Or are web devs.


Sounds like a good way to read average articles and reinforce a filter bubble, click bait titles, and bike-shedding.


Not only that, but JSON library perf is hilariously variable.

Phones? IoT? Embedded? OS devs? Someone just checked in a 14KB binary size reduction to our shell (by removing unnecessarily virtual methods in some C++) that was widely celebrated.

Also, smaller .dll's load faster from disk.
