not a pro videographer. RED colors seems soft (under saturated). looks like they give RAW for intensive post-processing instead of mostly usable film output. on paper digital matches or exceeds film but real world output does not say so. For example Wolf of Wall Street looks very cool (shot on film).
I think filmmakers which make real money off films use film or some esoteric digital camera and for cost reduction (aerial shots very low-light shots wtc.) use things like RED.

i dont get the severity of this attack. for this attack to work you have to include a js from CDN that has been compromised. if you are using a high profile CDN then it would probably be learned sooner. in other case that's plain DDOS not necessarily a JS-based DDOS.
OpenVZ is a container based virtualization solution. Among other things it means you can't run your own kernel or make changes to the existing kernel.
The biggest problem I've encountered with it is not being able to set up certain iptables rules without a particular setting on the OpenVZ host being enabled (which often requires a support ticket).
To put it simply, OpenVZ works similarly to Docker rather than VirtualBox or VMWare and comes with similar benefits and limitations.
off-topic:
flame phone are reasonably specced and priced. we just dont know anything about when we could "just" order an unlocked flame or a similar phone.
mid-range specced and priced phone would sell, i think, as second phone, phone for relatives and like.
