To piggy-back on revx....

Consider getting some blood work done. I found out I have a high incidence of Epstein Bar (related to Mononucleosis) and if I don't regulate my diet, I get completely drained of energy and will for anything. This also affects my sex drive and as revx mentioned, my physiology after orgasm. I call it the sex hangover.

I found that yoga and walking also helps a lot, I look for yoga videos on Youtube, the prettier the instructor the better ;)

I've recently gotten my beta tester card and I've been happily using it for over a month. They are ramping up distribution soon. Thats all I know.

I read somewhere recently that if you fantasize/talk about your ideas/goals it triggers your brain to let you feel a similar satisfaction for actually accomplishing the said idea/goal. Of course now I can't find the article so take it with a grain of salt.

I did find this article which is related…

This is probably what you're recalling: http://sivers.org/zipit

The article argues that the satisfaction prevents us from actually reaching our goals.

There are some good points made in the article. The responsive or one-for-all approach is still in its infancy. There will be issues, but I see an evolution in this that will ultimately lead to very succinct reusable widgets as described by the OP.

This is definitely one to grow on.

"I've unleashed the hounds of hell and covered my codebase in bacon." Best quote of the week.

+1 nice sentiment. I'll have to get "A professional is someone who can do his best job even when he doesn't feel like it" laser etched on the top of my screen

The title threw me for a loop. I was like "OHNOES!" I must secure my JSONs probably with some XMLs. Then I was like oh...

This is ridiculous. People need to be educated on what they don't understand so the will stop being afraid and try to pass these unfounded, near-sited, knee-jerk legislations.

If this goes more widespread, the government will be severely crippling my hobby, and some of my supplemental income.

>some of my supplemental income.

What you are doing now is likely already quite illegal.

So, now the real question is: How long until we have a self filling beer bottle?

Well, if we assume that any source of alcohol could be counted as beer, this device could be constructed by combining the water generator with a colony of modified algae (or an ecosystem of carb leaking algae and yeast) combined with some sort of membrane that allows alcohol through but not water. (Or a Brownian motion powered still).

That sounds pretty hard, but it would be a safe bet to say you could buy one within fifty years. Maybe longer if you want something nicer than pure ethanol.
