Agree. I initially thought it was brave the designer asking a subjective perspective on work and using it to weigh up what was better. Then I saw I disagreed and instantly thought "Uhhh-ooh". Unfortunately, I didn't pay as much attention to the rest of the article as I perhaps should have. Better is subjective, everyone processes visual data differently. I guess the job of a designer is to best fit people best they can.
