I think the autocomplete suggestions are region specific and possible linked to your Google account. Were you logged in?

It seems that they have hit a daily API limit of some kind. If you enter a space you get the top option right for every question.

Yeah, I got "Indiana Jones and the" and entered three of the movie names. It said they were all incorrect.

Try an incognito window, and through that go to google.com/ncr to get US-only results.
