It is a completely different article by an actual respected researcher in the field.

I posted the medium article yesterday and deleted it myself when I realised it was actually bogus science from reading the comments.

Why delete it though? The discussion that followed[1] alone was worth it, don't you think?

[2] It's from their "physics arxiv blog", by the way --so at the very least someone, somewhere in the discipline found it entertaining enough despite its comic flaws!
