I don't understand how adding a camera crew and having the money come from someone not involved in the actual sex some how makes it legal.



Same way it does everything else in America: free speech.

Note that sex tapes, where no money changes hands, are legal.

Not always. But that even so that shouldn't make any difference.


Not necessarily. Some producers star in their own porn videos. So they pay someone to have sex with them. Still 100% legal.

The only difference is the existence of a camera. It's kind of insane.
