I called and cancelled my service with them this morning. The Comcast rep started to ask why, but I simply said I want to cancel my service. She said, "OK, we are sad to see you go, I'll begin work on doing the disconnection now..."
It was pretty painless. I guess it all depends on who you get on the other side of the phone.
