Talk about begging the question. It would be far more interesting to talk about the characteristics which make large codebases easier or harder to work with and how to encourage those practices in different environments.



I thought the linked answer did pretty much what you suggest. Was it missing something?


The first paragraph started out reasonably well but then it detoured into a bunch of discussion about details which were specific to JavaScript rather than the class of dynamic languages as a whole. It felt a lot like saying static languages were hard to write maintainable, secure programs using C as the only example.
