It's like a fake version of https://twitter.com/shit_hn_says

Hmm, I find shit_hn_says much more entertaining than 'hacker news onion'.

There is also https://mobile.twitter.com/DEVOPS_BORAT. One out of ten posts contains actual actionable real world advise.

I'm so sad that that account seems to be defunct. There's some gold in there. Was good for a chuckle.

I like that the city for this account says "Mountain Dew, CA"

My favorites:

   1. Self-proclaimed "visionary" seeks technical cofounder.
   2. Blue Screen Of Death As A Service
   3. "Node.js is a Ghetto" by Ryan Dahl and Zed Shaw

How about:

Obama – "The national technical debt is increasing at an alarming rate. We have to stop writing PHP."

PHP is not a partisan issue. And they should stop painting it as such.

Not bad, but I think his hands are tied here. PHP is simply too big to fail. I expect a series of bailouts.

BSOD as a service could actually be interesting, if you turn it around: a webservice to collect tracebacks and do interesting stuff with it, so that developers can quickly find bugs -- like Mozilla's feedback tool, but available to everyone.

In fact, I bet something like that is already available and I just don't know it.

I would rather see a Green Screen of Death as-a-service. It would take your video, or web cam, and fill the background with some scary or apocalyptic scene.

You should also check out FakeValley - http://fakevalley.com

This is great, but it should hit closer to home. People love The Onion because the articles almost sound true

Almost true like "God Angrily Clarifies 'Don't Kill' Rule"? http://www.theonion.com/articles/god-angrily-clarifies-dont-...

Also because The Onion is actually funny. But then, Onion is written by professional writers and they have very pretty high standards.

My favorites:

This is so much better than we deserve.
