The Case for Abolishing the DHS
The DHS includes the Coast Guard, Customs, Immigration, and FEMA. Abolishing these critical functions would be like throwing the baby out with the bath water.

And those functions can be moved out of DHS, just as they were pre-9/11.

All of those functions existed before DHS. DHS can be abolished and those will be moved to other services.

As stated in the article (RTFA), these could be moved out of the DHS bureaucracy as they were before 9/11.
