Man, no offense, but you seem extremely short-sighted here. So when you and a couple coworkers are architecting a system, deciding what the pipeline of information flow is going to be, where the security holes may be, stopping any latency or unnecessary operations, and making sure the user knows how to use the damn thing on top of that - and you aren't writing code, but instead communicating with your coworkers - you don't think that's work? How could it not be?
