Verizon buys the not-quite-5G wireless ISP Starry to expand wireless broadband (theverge.com)

I like wireless ISPs, because radio works everywhere, and I want my regular ISP to sweat a little. Doesn’t matter who ran what wires to where, all you need is a window

I had Fios in Boston, in an apartment that was only wired for Fios. Despite that my service was pretty good/cheap - probably related to all the Starry fliers I got in the mail. Guessing it won’t be like that next year.
