I'm repeating what an EM doc told me available in her community hospital i.e. they only have Tamiflu and Paxlovid, which is why even if she did have access to Viral panels, they couldn't do anything more to treat those other viral infections.

I'd be astonished if they didn't have acyclovir. More cheekily, all HIV medications are antivirals.

What I suspect you were being told is "For a respiratory illness presenting like this, we only have tamiflu and paxlovid."
