I’ve been wanting to buy a copy of Flowers for Algernon. It’s easy too, my local Barnes and Noble has it in stock. But it’s $19 (in paperback!) for a book published almost 60 years ago.


Take a slow and steady look through every second-hand book store within travelling distance.

You might find it or you might not. But the search will be far more interesting than browsing any website.


Keep an eye out for library sales in your area. The selection is usually very good and you can buy books/CDs/etc. by the pound.
