A shame that Tektronix 4014 and ReGIS graphics are not commonly implemented in emulators.


That was one of the cool things to see at the Living Computer Museum when I went a number of years ago. A lot of the machines they had out were more in the category of user hardware, but they had a room with older business machines, various terminals, and such. I remember a few of them running what looked like graphics demos. I looked them up well after my visit. It was a cool bit of history to learn (and see in action).


The way Tektronix draws images by flashing high power electron beams on the screen is iconic. Tektronix was used a lot in the original Battlestar Galactica series.
