After Switch to Zed I don't feel like I need Aider for now, but it was definitely a big help when I actively used NVIM and did more Terminal stuff.
I have 2 hobby projects that were 90% done with aider. They're both in go and were very simple apps, but it was still incredible how quick I got an MVP going!
Since Cursor has released composer I’ve found myself using it more primarily due to better editor integration and the fact that I’m already paying for the tokens as part of the subscription.
Aider has great docs and is more configurable but definitely has a steeper learning curve.
