I thought this was a great presentation - it completely sidesteps the issues of that always arise like "why should I try this"...or "but my tech stack does that already" and just shows people something new and interesting that they may not have seen before. Of course it relies of the fact that you've read your audience's exposure to the technology you are demoing correctly before going in to the conference.
