I’m a Staff Software Engineer and I don’t know what it is. This time last year my title was Analytics Architect Advisor. Before that I’ve had the Application and Solution architect titles. Between last year and now the company did one of those leveling exercises and wanted to match us with the industry. So now I’m a Staff Software Engineer. Almost feels like a demotion without my architect title, but I’m still paid the same.
