How to build a crazy 1000W 90k lumens led flashlight (diyphotography.net)

(2015)

It's 10 years later and you can get a 200k flashlight from Amazon (IMALENT MS32).

Caution on Amazon, most flashlights there are terrible. They never reach the lumens they advertise, they don't last, and are just generally quite poorly made.

IMALENT seems to be a fairly well-known brand, so that one likely meets what it advertises. Just be careful, it's easy to get bitten by garbage on Amazon these days.

If it matters, I have an Imalent DX80, bought in 2018. It is kept 3/5 charged in a drawer as emergency light if we have a power outage etc. After being dropped on concrete the glass is cracked and half of the diodes are offline, but it does its job.
