I bought an eeeeeepc a little while back and put a headless linux on it. I mostly use it to write small programs when I'm not at home, like if I'm at my local hackspace, or to connect to my home machines to do some stuff remotely. The battery is a little bit borked, but it works well enough for what I need it for =)
