I would love to get feedback, especially if you have experience hiring for a CTO or tech leader position. The companies I am applying to typically want the person to represent them at conferences and events, but also tech leadership and strategic guidance for the developers, aligning them with its goals etc.
I'm exploring going back to full-time employment after years of running my own startups. I've spent the last decade building what I thought was really needed, bootstrapping (about $1.5 million in revenues) and raising startup investment (another $1.5 million). Not huge compared to a unicorn company, but overall I guess not bad for a startup founder...
The last few months, the investors I had been speaking with ALL started facing upstream liquidity issues, and I started looking around for a CTO position in the industry, where I can use my skills. So I've put together these docs. After so many years, I don't know if they're standard or not, but I am guessing they can be improved. I'd appreciate any feedback :)
The graphics and three page resume was an immediate turn off for me. If I was sifting through resumes, I’d move on with reading it. I’d recommend reading The Tech Resume Inside Out or similar books for guidance on tech resume formats.
