Oh sorry my bad, it was in a subsequent tweet response to his original tweet: https://twitter.com/Jonathan_Blow/status/1807868275042255078

Regarding the tools, you seem to be missing my point, he explained why he is in a pickle: He develops games...Windows is the premier gaming platform whether he likes it or not...hence he needs to develop on Windows.

He doesn't need to develop on a laptop with two GPUs.

It's a personal choice to use terrible tools. Currently he is picking two bad choices.

He is using the top of the line hardware because of the nature of his work. And I'm presuming you can't disable the iGPU. You are really boxing him into a terrible situation and just because you can tolerate Linux nonsense does not automatically make it an ideal solution for others.

Similarly, just because you can tolerate Apple nonsense does not automatically make it an ideal solution for others.

Sure but I already stated this in my original comment. He cannot use Apple despite it being much better designed to address his complaints.

What nonsense? I see lots of Stockholm syndrome from Windows users who like to invent issues with other OS'.

Agreed, I always push back on nonsense from Windows users as well as Linux users. Like I mentioned in my original comment, his main complaints could be solved by Apple but he is stuck with a poorly designed OS given the nature of his work. Linux would not be an improvement as it would still present him with a litany of problems for him to complain about. His main concern would be addressed with the top of the line M series GPU.
