My cousin-in-law is having a real hard time finding anything available. I chalk it up to them not being the best at selling themselves, but while also looking alongside for them, it seems the market is actually terrible for juniors.
What bothers me is, technically he's a junior, but practically he is a "passionate" who could learn anything you throw at him in a weekend.

As an experienced programmer of 10+ years it hurts my heart to see a "passionate" having a hard time. Truly passionate, natural programmers are not common.
