It's sad to see how little discussion this gets in comparison to the original accusation and questionable investigations. Niemann doesn't do himself any favors by acting like a spoiled child, but the world of professional chess should take itself seriously enough to demand that cheating accusations be made -- and investigated -- in private, rather than as lurid media spectacles.
