Please don't post like this, for a couple reasons: one is that it "never does any good and makes boring reading", as the site guidelines have said for many years: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html.

The other reason is that in cases where a comment didn't deserve to be downvoted (which you're right, was the case here), fair-minded users will usually come along and give the post a corrective upvote (https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=true&sor...). Which fixes the problem except then comments like your reply here linger on as inaccurate—there's no garbage collector to take care of them.
