I used to worry about climate change, I still do, but this seems like it could be on a whole new level of shit.

The findings point the way for additional research to understand how microplastics might affect sperm production in the testes, he said. “We have a lot of unknowns. We need to really look at what the potential long-term effect. Are microplastics one of the factors contributing to this decline?”

Scale back now, do the research later. Less pollution can only be a good thing anyway ?

> Scale back now, do the research later.

I'm all in for this, seriously, but people who are addicted to monies will say vehemently no.

They can't isolate from this, so hopefully they'll decide it's important

What if they don’t?

I'm betting they want ai drone crowd control before they want to clean up the place, so either way we're screwed

Microdrones are easy to 3d print. They can pacify wealthy targets and their security forces, via random strike and retreat tactics. They are piloted by anonymous contributors.

This protects the social arm of the moment, and pushes the wealthy to take their bargaining position seriously.

This is the people's crowd control.

I don't think I wanna be the one starting with escalation, you're prolly right though

Wonder what they most crave. Is it money? Or would they prefer to avoid death?

They can't have both.

Pov: in the movie Idiocracy, the show "Ow My Balls" was made possible by the protective micro plastics that just naturally built up in human testicles over 500 years.

In 2024, human balls are 0.1% micro plastic. By year 2500, human balls are 33% plastic. This makes them relatively indestructible.

So what ? Are there any negative effects ?

Your balls are made of plastic now ?

Now that we need balls of steel to face the challenges of climate change, all we got were some plastic ones.

You may end up having plastic children.

Last i heard: "Life in plastic is fantastic". - Barbie /s

There a lot of clothes made of plastic so maybe those scientists shall check how the plastics got there.
