Although it's going to feel horrible, there's no way an email telling you that you're out isn't going to 'make you feel like an outsider'. You have been made an outsider.

Is it remarkable that they were Indian? In my experience there's a lot of Indians in tech to begin with, so it stands to reason some would also occasionally get laid off...?
