I understand the payout per artist is low. But what about the total payout across all artists? Is problem streaming or the low barrier to entry as a band and/or label? In other words, is a sizable but finite (X ppl listening Y hrs per day) payout split between too many artists?


Pretty sure the payout follows a Pareto distribution with the "catalogue" artists doing very well and your smaller artists... not so much.
