No. I agree with Chomsky's analysis that politicians are largely bought by wealthy entities, and ultimately that means they work for banks. Hence, messing with banks gets you in a lot of trouble, but when banks mess up it's also we constituents that are in a lot of trouble.

I don't agree with Chomsky's prescription for dealing with this problem as I'm not a socialist.
