I am happy to continue to shed light on Boeing's MBA-fueled mishaps over the last decade but the 777 is generally a well designed airplane from the 90s...
Unless they somehow managed to infect even the 777, or newer variations of it?
I agree with you, but the majority of problems so far are thought to stem from the QC/QA processes and from efforts to speed production past the point of sane inspection practices.
A lot of Boeing's recent issues haven't been in design, but assembly (missing bolts, etc).
That being said, planes malfunction all the time, often due to poor maintenance. Boeing's incidents make the headlines because of increased media scrutiny.
