Prop E specifically requires these data be treated "consistent[ly] with all applicable City poliicies on data and privacy" [1].
I'm seeing nothing here that is remotely convincing. Prop E is broader than drones for car chases. But replacing a speeding cop car with drones seems like an obvious improvement. I'm shocked it even needs a referendum to be implemented.
