Search: "tilt" for example. I have seen this about 2 years ago and it was really cool. This effect is just iteration on the same idea ...

Yes, Google should be ashamed for implementing more than one easter egg. It being something completely different is no excuse!

Right, almost as though they had fun implementing the first one and they felt like doing another.
