Did you mean critical thinking?


I think “media literacy”, which the body of the article actually uses, is more specific.


It may be "more specific", but dangerously so: you should be critically thinking even about a curriculum book or what your teacher is saying.

Admittedly, some bad "critical thinking" leads to dumbness too: eg. I can't see Earth's curvature and I don't trust the book, so it must be flat.


I wonder how much advanced theoretical concepts are going to feel this.

Maybe it'll bring them in the classroom more as a category available to students.
