I'm more upset it sets up a resident key, but then doesn't take advantage of not even asking me for my email. Waste of a slot if you use a hardware token.
I think this might change in a future update or later stage of the rollout. Making use of the "usernameless" behavior is a potential that Amazon currently left on the road.
