Author here. I hope the article is helpful. Happy to answer any questions :)

hey tony, what's next?

thank you for writing this

Great story.

That aside, I wish we would stop using the word(s) ____preneur. It creates a false god.

In most cases, these are businesses one hit-by-a-bus event away from being nothing at all. Aside from the drop in revenue, customers who rely on the product/service gets screwed. That's not very 'preneur-y. Finally, the business are also the person and the person the business. That is, no exit.

Entrepreneurs scale and the means revenue *and* team, because sustainablity matters. And all along if they're not building for exit, they keep it a mind. Being exit'able is a measure of how successful the venture is.

Again. Great story. I'm inspired. I simply don't want to be a solopreneur, dadpreneur, mompreneur, etc.

That aside, all the "yes, but..." comments do not add value to the thread. Kindly.

I will keep that in mind for next time. Unfortunately, perpetuating false narratives - and putting paying customers at risk - makes me uncomfortable.

I believe we can do better. I believe we should do better. There is no wrong place to start that process.

I acknowledge your concerns. I hope you've done the same for mine.
