I hope, but I would not bet on it. Unity supports Linux for a long time and still I see some Unity games are not published for Linux but published for Mac, not sure if why, maybe because some people in the team are using Mac and are fine with testing the Mac builds but don't care about Linux. I am OK with Proton official support, then we know that we get support for breaking bugs.
