Solar/wind are indeed competitive now, and would be even more competitive once countries get their act together and stop allowing fossil fuels to treat the atmosphere as a free sewer.

It's still 80% fossil fuel. Until those numbers reverse we are getting ahead of ourselves.

If a pipe bursts in your house you start by turning off the water, not by investing in a dehumidifier.
