Samsung highlighted that the drive possesses telemetry capabilities, transmitting data back to the company throughout its lifecycle, aiding in troubleshooting, though this feature was introduced at the previous year’s FMS.

Joke aside I hope this is configurable. Diagnostic telemetry is useful.

I wonder what level of redundancy they recommend intra and inter drive. If this can segment itself into discrete TRIMable subunits, it might sustain chip damage better than being a single extent.

I also wonder how much data in flight is at risk under powerloss. Awesome bandwidth may be "not yet committed" through DRAM.
