Maybe read, think, and then don't reply to my remarks. While Apple can serve ads to you, it's what they do with that data that matters. No matter what we do, if we want to have any presence online, meta-data is going to be collected. But that doesn't mean we should just throw up our hands and go "welp, everyone is doing it, so what does it matter". It matters. While I don't trust anything totally, at this point in time, in 2023, I would trust Apple more than Google or Facebook in how it handles that meta-data. They aren't in the business of selling it.
