Doubt all people are that bored - most of them were prob too susceptible to marketing these two films had.
It's probably mostly an industry test to see how many people will decide to leave comfy environment of their houses and multiple streaming options and head back to movie theaters. If this will show good in numbers then no doubts we'll see similar titled bundling schemes in months, years to come.
I still don't understand it - is there really that much crossover between the audiences, or are people really that bored?
