The number of people working on mission critical stuff are always going to be lesser.

I am not against learning things in detail. I am only saying these days productivity has become more important metric than them in most general cases.

Now please don't tell me about cases like space craft/airplane design. You and I know well, they don't apply to the masses.

And after all experts have got to be good at something.
