Or you can use a virtualenv, like you already do for all your python projects.. right?



These are self-contained packages, include their own pre-configured copies of Apache, MySQL, etc. As far as I understand virtualenv only applies to Python + related packages, not other dependencies. But I agree that for many setups, virtualenv would work fine as well.
