Can you imagine being in the Windows product design meeting and someone says:

“No means NO! The user did not activate their account and we should respect that not harass them!”

Would never happen.

It would if anyone with self-respect works there. I've done similar things at Apple, and I would damn well do it at Microsoft.

At some point in your career you decide you don't have to suck up anymore. Could be day one; could be year 10. But it should happen.
