Ask HN: Saving a Workspace on Mac

I regularly work on 4-5 projects in a day. Each has an IDE tab, dev site, SFTP connection, local database, etc.

I feel like a lot of time goes to switching between projects.

How do y’all handle that? Is there an app that will let me save all the running apps to restore them later?

I’d like to be able to click a button and get everything up at once.

I just use separate Spaces for each project, and leave them running. I've thought about writing an AppleScript to automate creating a new Space and opening all the apps and documents for each project, but I don't think it's worth the effort given how infrequently I'd use it.

Bunch can be used to automate opening and closing applications when changing tasks.
