This is just fear mongering by news.com.au, pretty well not respected by anyone who's media savvy in Australia.

We are due for a housing crash, but the media has been saying it for the last 10 years, and the government keeps propping it up.

The editors would've just cherrypicked an investment firm and inserted it into a story they'd already written.
